Colton Provey
Tennessee Scouting Director

As the year winds down and the 21' season looms, an influx of senior commits have been rolling in as they find a good fit for the next level.  As the ink dries from national signing day for many, there are still skilled uncommitted seniors looking for their future home, and that doesn't exclude players lurking in the 200+ rankings.  Today, we  follow our '21 Southpaw Sleepers with a breakdown of their righty-counterparts highlighting ten uncommitted senior "sleepers."

Scout Notes

Cade Hollingsworth, 1B, Independence, 2021
The 6-foot-2, 204-pound first baseman put together a strong BP round at the Fall Uncommitted Upperclass Showcase. Proportional frame with present strength throughout.  At the dish, balanced, slightly crouched stance with controlled load and small leg kick.  Generates great bat speed (max: 74 mph; Avg: 69.8 mph via Blast) and gets good extension driving balls gap to gap.  Consistent hard contact (Max: 95.6 mph; Avg: 85.8 mph via Trackman) with some legit pull side juice (Max Distance: 369 ft via Trackman).  Defensively, solid around the bag with average hands and footwork. Decent arm at 79 mph across the infield from a low 3/4 slot.  Profiles as a slugging first baseman at the next level.
