The 6-foot, 158-pound two-way prospect has made quite the jump since the 2020 Jr. Future Games. Growing several inches and adding nearly twenty pounds over the past year, he still has a lean, wiry frame with projection. He's got a quick, loose arm that earned him a spot on Team TN for the 2021 Future Games. Quiet, repeatable delivery with good tempo down the slope. Ball comes out clean at 3/4 slot. FB at 86-90 (T 2237 rpm; Avg: 1973 rpm) with occasional arm side action, but attacks the zone, working a quick clean inning at FG. Leans on mid 70s CB with good bit and downer shape to keep hitters honest off the FB and shows an occasional CH at 74-75. Positionally, very solid behind the dish with good pitch presentation and great arm strength. Fairly clean transfers, popping right around a 2.00. At the plate, can handle the stick from both sides and is a tough at bat. Little light on power at the time, but that will come as he continues to fill out. Hamilton has potential as a true two-way, but he currently has more upside on the mound. He'll be an easy one to follow this Spring.
