On Thursday, we traveled to Christ Presbyterian Academy for 3 games from them, Lebanon, Columbia Academy and Grace Christian. We previously evaluated Lebanon here. Read below on some standouts and check out the Twitter feed for some video highlights!

TRAVIS ODOM / SS / RHP / CHRIST PRESBYTERIAN ACADEMY, TN / 20191-3, BB Auburn commit showed SS defensive tools w/ flashes of premium bat speed. Medium, athletic frame w/ lean strength, projectable. Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ hand rhythm into leg kick and load. Lot of pre-pitch movement, did not always get hands in the same position. Will hit velocity when he can maintain the same timing every pitch. Flashes premium bat speed through the zone when lower half and upper half are synced. Barrel stays in the zone for a long time. Projectable power to LF and CF. Above average runner underway. Defensively, shows soft hands w/ easy actions, above average arm strength w/ carry through target. Can make throws from any arm slot. Showed first step quickness. |
