Scouting Report
12/10/19
6-foot-1, 180-pound two-way has established himself as a top tier 2022 prospect. Medium, steady frame w/ some strength and good projectability. Jamison was a force at Border Battle in October impacting the game on both sides, going 1 for 2 w/ a triple, two walks, 2 runs, and 4 quality at bats paired with three perfect innings on the mound. Offensively, the lefty switched to a more balanced stance w/ quiet load and stride, allowing more incorporation in lower half. Power continues to make strides showing more gap-to-gap (Exit Velo: 87). Defensively, true third baseman who moves well w/ good glove and strong arm (INF Velo: 82), skill set makes him serviceable corner OF as well. On the mound, consistently has been 82-84, up to 85 w/ good downhill plane while occasionally mixing two-seam w/ arm-side action.Primarily uses low-70s breaking ball w/ 11/5 action and S/M potential. Faced 9 batters, allowing no base runners, and struck out two. Profile projects as two-way LHH/RHP prospect w/ high ceiling on both sides. Certainly a 2022 to watch at the top of the class.
