The 2021 high school baseball season is quickly approaching and as usual, excitement abounds throughout the state. That excitement may be at an all-time high entering this high school season as the 2020 high school baseball season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season during an offseason unlike any other and as always, there are some very talented players and teams across Tennessee.
Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in Murfreesboro at the TSSAA Spring Fling state championships, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, prospect watchlists, and Tennessee Power Rankings
*Please note that all information is based on team preview questionnaires that were sent out and returned by the participating high school coaches.

Outlook:
South of Nashville towards the Alabama border is Giles County, TN home of the Bobcats. Coach Dustin Hill's group made a run in the district tourney in 2019 and won it in 2018. District 12-AA is a competitive conference, sending two clubs to the state tournament in '19 (Nolensville & Forrest), and we expect more of the same in 2021 with several clubs in the mix. The Bobcats will lean on senior backstop Coleman Siniard to be a leader for this group, that features several young skilled players. The Cardin boys will be moving all over the field and look to be the feature arms of the staff. Jr. Sawyer Phillips provides some versatility and Jr. infielder Tucker Toone provides some quality at bats. Freshman Southpaw Carter Kelley looks to be able to contribute on the mound and in the outfield. It's a blended cast of veterans and youth, and the Bobcats will look to make a postseason push.
