3-3, HR Uncommitted shortstop flashed all 5 tools, including a 4.16 run time and a home run to straightaway CF. Medium, athletic frame w/ some present strength, some physical projection. Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into short stride and short hand load. Generates above average bat speed through the zone w/ some stiffness. Shows ability to keep hands back to hit off-speed, even when fooled. Up the middle approach w/ ability to drive the baseball. Up the middle to pull power. Plus runner underway. Defensively, showed solid hands w/ lateral quickness, arm strength w/ carry to target. Has a chance to stay on the dirt, profile suggests could be an intriguing CF option as well. |
