Powdersville: 13  Fountain Inn: 2

Big region matchup was on deck between two highly competitive teams that had shown some promise to this point in the season. Powdersville would give the ball to Landon Fowler arguably one of the best arms in the state. As usual Fowler shined but the Powdersville offense came out in a big way in this one. Powdersville would strike for 3 in the first and then continue to add on in the second with 6 runs. Fountain Inn would fight back in the 4th with 2 runs to make it a 9-2 ballgame but that was all they could manufacture as Powdersville would put 4 across the board in the 5th and hold the Fury to end the game in a run rule 13-2.
