On Saturday December 9th PBR of South Carolina was on hand at Florence Legion Stadium in Florence, SC for the Pee Dee Regional Scout Day. The event featured players from the 2024-2027 grad classes.

The day started with catchers going through defensive evaluations followed pitchers throwing a controlled bullpen with Trackman collecting data analytics.  Next players ran a laser timed 60 measuring the players 10/30/60 yard splits, then BP on the field with Trackman collecting ball flight data followed the defensive evaluations to finish the day.

Gunner Jordan, Cheraw HS, 2024

6-4 100 pound long lean strong frame.  Showed off a flat path with bat speed through the zone.  Had a max exit velo of 103.5 mph with a max exit distance of 373 feet.  Big time power with the bat to the pullside Defensivley showed to the abilty to bounce the field and play multiple positions!    

Jonathan Luke Price, Lake View HS, 2024

6-1 218 pound physical frame.  Hits from a wide balanced stance with a flat stroke through the zone.  Had a max exit velo of 99.8 mph with a max exit distnace of 295 feet while using a gap to gap approach.  

Peyton Rogers, West Florence HS, 2024, South Carolina Commit

6-1 190 pound strong frame.  Hits from a wide stance with a no stride approach.  Good strength at contact and short compact stroke through the zone.  Had a max exit velo of 98.6 mph and a max distance of 369 feet.  

Reid Baxley, Johnsonville, 2024

5-10 195 pound frame with strength.  Left handed hitter that hits from a tall setup with loose high hands.  Short swing while working above the ball and using the middle of the field with some pull side pop.  Had a max exit velo of 94 mph and a max distance of 292 feet.

Grayson Weekley, Hartsville, 2024

5-11 170 pound frame with room to add on.  Hits from a wider balanced base with a small lift and medium stride into a good hitting position.  Swing is flat through the zone while working above the ball.  Produced a max exit velo of 91.9 and a max distance of 276 feet.

Cole Winburn, Hartsville, 2024

5-8-170 pound frame.  Simple setup with a wider base and a small stride forward to balance.  Natural lift in swing while producing consisitent hard contact.  Had a max exit velo of 91.8 mpoh and a max distance of 312 feet.  

Nick Romanoli, Trinity Collegiate, 2024

5-11 185 pound strong physical frame.  Slightly open stance with a small lift and stride to balance.  Good aggressive swings with a flat path through the ball with a pull side approach.  Had a max exit velo of 89.4 mph and a max distance of 330 feet.  

Tucker Bass, Lake View, 2024

5-9 160 pounds.  Hits from a wide stance with a no stride approach.  Swing produced lots of linedrives while having a pull side approach.  Had a max exit velo of 88.4 mph and a max distance of 282 feet.  

Pierce Evans, Trinity Collegiate, 2024

6-1 172 pund lean athletic frame.  Simple setup from a wider stance with a small stride forard to a balanced hitting position.  Has a falt stroke throught the zone with a higher finish.  Had a max exit velo of 87.5 mph and a max distance of 300 feet.
