With 2021 coming to a close we begin to take a look at the most viewed player profiles in South Carolina over the last year. PBR continues to be a go-to source of information for college coaches and pro-scouts. All Major League Organizations and over 800 colleges are subscribed to PBR services. Coaches and scouts can go to a players profile page and see player video as well as advanced analytics. With all the information provided it allows coaches and scouts to get an idea of who the player is as well as track their progress throughout their careers. 

 

PBR will see profile hits go over 12 million in 2021 with an average of over 1 million hits per month. Some of the most popular ways to a player profile page are event pages, tournament pages, player search, news articles and rankings. Over the next few weeks we will highlight the 15 most viewed profiles of 2021 in South Carolina.

No. 8: Evan Stone

South Carolina commit.  High level athlete with elite quickness.   Right handed hitter.  Tall, balanced stance.  Slight dive with a short stride.  Good bat speed with average barrel feel.  Works for extension.  Has a chance to make an impact in the lineup this spring for the Gamecocks.  Hard worker, still raw but has made a big impression on the coaching staff at South Carolina.

Physical Profile/Projection - 6-0, 175lb. Broad shoulders, lean strength. Proportional build. Substantial projection remaining. 

Offensive Analysis - 96 mph exit velo (Trackman). Slightly open athletic stance. Medium leg kick and stride. Short hand load with a small barrel turn at the top. Quick hands, barrel lag present. Naturally lofted path with extension through contact. 6.52 sixty time (laser). Athletic on the bases in game, will have opportunities to run.  

Defensive Analysis - 90 mph OF velo. Fluid actions. Fields the ball inside the right foot and exchanges consistently at the chest. Full arm action with an over the top arm slot. Showed an accurate arm with above average carry. Rangy defender, smooth lateral movements, gets good jumps.
