With 2021 coming to a close we begin to take a look at the most viewed player profiles in South Carolina over the last year. PBR continues to be a go-to source of information for college coaches and pro-scouts. All Major League Organizations and over 800 colleges are subscribed to PBR services. Coaches and scouts can go to a players profile page and see player video as well as advanced analytics. With all the information provided it allows coaches and scouts to get an idea of who the player is as well as track their progress throughout their careers.

No. 14: Jonah Conradt
A new player to the Palmetto State this Fall, when joining the P27 program from Wisconsin. Jonah made a big splash in the state right away. After a big time showing at the Future Games, Jonah made his commitment to the Arkansas Razorbacks. Wiry 6-foot-1, 162-pound frame; live arm. hard running life to arm side, velocity projects in a big way with big time spin. Spun his CB in the mid-70s at 2,500+ RPM. Kills spin on CH, runs from a lower slot, primarily to LHH.
Scouting Report
Positional Profile: RHP; A high-end sophomore prospect in the state.
Body: 6-1, 159-pounds. Wiry strength; lean athleticism.
Delivery: Easy effort, tall/fall pitcher. Smooth rhythm. Level shoulders, lands square.
Arm Action: R/R. High 3/4 arm angle. Very quick arm speed with long and loose arm action.
FB: T90, 88-89 mph. Showed some of the best FB spin rate at the event. Flashed some run on the FB. Hard action thrown for strikes. T2339, 2246 average rpm.
CB: 74-77 mph. Plus CB spin rate, second best at the event. 11/5 shape with sharp/hammer action. Thrown at near FB arm speed. T2591, 2538 average rpm.
SL: 76-78 mph. Shorter break. Similar pitch to the CB. Potential to develop into an effective fourth pitch. T2595, 2535 average rpm.
CH: 77-79 mph. Thrown at FB arm speed. Late ASR action. Easy feel, showed control of the pitch. T2010, 1976 average rpm.
Positional Profile: RHP; A sophomore in the state emerging as one of the top arms in the 2023 class.
Body: 6-1, 155-pounds. Thin, long levers; wiry, athletic build.
Delivery: Tall, staggered start from the center of the rubber; simple, slow tempo to tall balance point, high knee, slight hip turn. Fluid stride, smooth momentum, to square landing, toe to target. Excellent extension/flexion generated in hip/shoulder separation at plant. Sturdy posture, bend in torso, arm cocked with prominent load in shoulders. Works in some effort, but repeats well, finishes athletically.
Arm Action: RH. A live arm; quick, clean, loose to a high 3/4 slot. Very fast arm speed, produced from maximum elbow layback/external rotation.
FB: T88, 86-87 mph. Features some natural arm-side run, flashed above-average carry through the zone.
CB: 71-73 mph. Advanced feel for spin, especially for his age; 11/5 shape with sharp depth and lateral bite. Averaged -15.2 inches of vertical break and -11.1 inches horizontally.
CH: 78-81 mph. Lowers average release height, but maintains arm speed efficiently. Substantial arm-side action; 18.0 inches of horizontal break on average.
A lean 5-foot-11, 145-pound frame; right-handed pitcher with wiry levers. Conradt broke out at our 15U tournament at The Rock a few weeks ago, and he was more or less the same version of himself, a quick-armed prospect to know inside the state’s 2023 class. His arm works very fast from a high ¾ slot, with athleticism in his delivery. In 4.2 innings this weekend, he struck out eight batters, walked six, four hits allowed.
5-foot-11, 145 pounds; long, lanky levers that project. Quick, loose arm from a high ¾ slot that generates carry through the strike zone; fastball sat 81-83 mph in his short look on Saturday, some arm-side action. Mixed in a sweeping breaking ball in the 66-68 mph range. He struck out six batters in three total innings of work throughout the weekend. One of several underclass prospects to follow belonging to Hortonville.
Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 5-foot-11, 143-pounds. Thin frame but uses it well.
Delivery: Regular effort. Average balance. Level shoulders, remains in line, lands square.
Arm Action: RH. Short, quick, high 3/4 arm action.
FB: T82, 79-81 mph. Showed late arm side run. Thrown for strikes.
CB: 66-67 mph. More of a sweeper. Thrown at near FB arm speed with gradual break. Showed good feel and the ability to control the pitch for strikes.
CH: 70-72 mph. Slight arm side run. Thrown at near FB arm speed. Struggled to locate.
