QUICK HITTERS - POSITION PLAYERS
Aiden Kwon, OF, Central Cabarrus, 2024 – Athletic frame, still maturing at 6-foot, 145 pounds. Tall and slightly open from the right side. Simple load with rhythmic shift back in the hands. Average bat speed. Showed feel for the barrel. Worked middle to pull side. Exit velocity up to 84mph. Ran a 6.99 sixty.
Aidan Seligman, MIF, Cuthbertson HS, 2025 – Some length in a young frame, stands 5-foot-11, 155 pounds. Narrow stance with good pre-pitch rhythm. Glides forward with an average stride. Some quickness in the hands with a short, direct path. Setup is geared for success as he adds strength. Exit velocity up to 84mph.
Nathan Carmello, C, Fort Mill HS (SC), 2024 – Lean, athletic frame at 5-foot-11, 150 pounds. Good hands with a natural uphill path through contact. Has quickness present. Potential power to the pull side as the swing is geared now. Solid arm strength behind the dish with pop times ranging 2.10-2.33
Anthony Garcia, 3B, South Iredell HS, 2024 – Strength present at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds. Slightly narrow and tall with a slight tip in the barrel back toward the pitcher. Simple load working with an average stride. Aggressive and flat through the zone, works for extension. Exit velocity peaked at 88mph.
Caleb Darbutt, C, Mount Pleasant HS, 2024 – Broad shoulders with strength present at 5-foot-10, 185 pounds. Right handed hitter works from a tall base with waggle in his setup. Uses a leg kick to load. Average stride. Working for lift through contact. Wants extension. Strength to the pull side. Exit velocity peaked at 84mph.
Alex Lerch, 2B, Metrolina Christian, 2025 – Average build, still maturing. Stands 5-foot-7, 120 pounds. Solid setup and approach from the left side. Slightly open. Rhythmic load with the hands, using a leg kick to shift the weight back. Average stride. Aggressive and flat through the zone. Loose, attacking lower half. Setup for success as he continues to mature.
