Legion Collegiate would strike first getting 3 runs in the first. They would continue the scoring with runs 2 in the 2^nd and 3 in the 3^rd. Joey Hylinkski didn’t need much run support as he was able to keep the Andrew Jackson bats quiet most of the night. LCA ended the game, after 5 via the run rule, plating a couple of runs in the 5th.

Each team has one their home game in this 2A State Championship Series.  Game 3 is scheduled for Monday at USC Lancaster at 7pm.

Hylinski was strong in his performance on the mound. Flashed a slider that had late bite with tight spin. Threw a heavy fastball that he spotted on the open part of the plate, low in the zone.
