Future Games Preview: Team Carolina Outfielders

The PBR Future Games is a one-of-a-kind event that will feature the best uncommitted players in the Class of 2021 and select 2022 prospects from the 40+ state coverage area of PBR. The Future Games take place on July 31 - August 3 at LakePoint in Cartersville, GA. Last year more than 250 college coaches from all over the country were in attendance.
Beginning on Wednesday July 31st with a full pro-style workout for the position players in attendance, the event runs through August 3rd. Each team will play three games over the three days after the workout day. Team Carolina will be comprised of players from North and South Carolina.

Team Carolina Preview: Outfielders
Stewart Evans OF / Scotland, NC / 2021Evans is a physical presence from the right side of the box. Jumping on the scene at the 2018 NC Underclass Games, Evans turned heads with his BP and continued to catch eyes as the swing translated into the game play. This summer Evans has produced in big way on the big stage. In several trips to LakePoint with his 5 Star NC club, Evans has impressed with his easy power and ball to bat skills. |
Archie Dean Herring OF / SS / Westchester Country Day, NC / 2021Who will run the fastest 60 at the PBR Future Games... We won't know the answer but Team Carolina has an entry that could capture the title in Herring. At the NC Underclass Games in 2018, Herring posted a 6.52 on the laser timer. Earlier this summer at the 5 Star NC organizational workout day, Herring lowered his top time to 6.45. |
