Workout Warriors: Shooter's 75 Follows

By Shooter Hunt
Vice President, Scouting

There might not be a more important recruiting day than the workout at the Future Games.

Nearly 600 uncommitted underclassmen in one place, all rolling through a pro-style workout, provides the perfect buffet for college coaches to gauge tools and upside. Not meant to decide fates, the full day of action is meant to provide the scouting community with a quick glimpse at the tools. Jotted notes, highlights, and circles are the norm for the day, and are meant to provide guidance over the next three days so that coaches can quickly identify follows, and zero in on the most important aspect of their profiles: game play.

So, while EVERY single player at the event showed plenty of promise, below is an initial look at 50 players that made an impact on Prep Baseball’s Vice President of Scouting, Shooter Hunt, and ones that he will be following closely the rest of the week.

NOTE: Only 2026 players are featured; Maryland, North Carolina, and Virginia will get full looks during pregame and BP in the coming days.
