Top Missouri prospects compete for USA Baseball Midwest
August 22, 2011
Several of the top players from the Missouri competed in the USA Baseball NTIS trials this past weekend, with the hope of representing the midwest in the USA Baseball Trials and ultimately USA Baseball.
Representing the Midwest at the 17U division are:
Jake Hemphill--Vianney "Overall the talent level was very good from across the 5 state region, that being Missouri, Arkansas, Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma. We are excited about the teams we will take to Cary, NC September 8-11, for the USA Baseball NTIS. This is the premier opportunity for players to be invited to the USA Team Trials, which is the final step to be selected to the USA National teams. We feel like several of our athletes will have opportunity to move forward, and are proud of the work they have put in to get to this point," said Matt Whiteside, USA Baseball Midwest Regional Director.
