Jesse O’Connor, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound RHP from Maine South HS, has committed to Air Force Academy. The long and lean right-hander emerged over the summer with an impressive three-pitch repertoire and excellent command.

Rocco Both, a switch-hitting catcher from Bremen HS, has committed to Triton JC. Both possesses power potential from either side of the plate.

Colt Smith, a strong-bodied 6-foot-2, 215-pound RHP from Coal City, has committed to St. Joseph’s College. The hard-throwing Smith burst onto the scene as a sophomore, when he posted a 7-4 record with 74 strikeouts in 59 innings while leading Coal City to the Class 2A state semifinals.
