Dan Fifer, an athletic 6-foot, 175-pound OF/RHP from Lincoln-Way West HS, has committed to Augustana College. Fifer has been red-hot this season, batting .538 with 13 runs, four doubles, one homer and a triple for the Warriors. As a junior, Fifer hit .416 with 30 runs and eight doubles.

 

Illinois Wesleyan landed two more prospects when the defending Division III champion secured commitments from RHP Craig Berberich (Wheaton North HS) and RHP Robert Romano (St. Viator HS).

 

Edgewood College got two commitments from INF/RHP Zac Creekmore (Zion-Benton HS) and C Sean Thompson (Hersey HS).

 

Joel Birch, an infielder from St. Francis HS, has committed to Lawrence University.
