New Madrid sunk Kelly, 7-4.
Jackson scored one run in the bottom of the fifth and played errorless defense, as they beat Poplar Bluff 3-2.
Cape Central defeated Sikeston 5-1 after extending their lead with a three-run bottom of the sixth. Ronnie Scott was the winning pitcher for Central and improved to 4-2, while J.P. Houston was 2-for-3. Ross Bohannon was 2-for-2 for Sikeston in the loss.
No. 10 Cape Notre Dame run-ruled Dexter, 12-2. Dexter scored two runs in the top of the first, but after that it was all Notre Dame, as they scored at least two runs in all but one inning. Eric Hayes was the winning pitcher for Notre Dame and Cody Heisserer hit a triple.
In a big rivalry game, No. 11 Kennett shut out New Madrid County Central 4-0 to advance in the SEMO Conference Tournament. Logan Dollins picked up the win for Kennett, after collecting eight strikeouts over six innings. Adam Grantham had an RBI-double, Cameron Wallace had a run-scoring knock, and Thomas Stillman was 2-for-3 with an RBI.
