Regional 1: Champ – Crown Point
Crown Point 2 Penn 1
Senior Nick Nauracy kept a strong offense silent allowing just one run (on a passed ball) on two hits and struck out three over seven innings of work. Zach Plesac drove in both runs for Crown Point. Kyle Schneider took the tough loss allowing just two runs on five hits in five inning of work.
Elkhart Central 8 Lake Central 3
Elkhart Central broke the game open with a seven run third inning capped off by a Ronnie Hawkins three run double. Tanner Tully picked up the victory allowing just one earned run on six hits in seven innings of work. Jack Bernacchi, Matt Eppers, Adam Raifsnider, and Austin McArt all had two hits and drove in a run for EC.
Crown Point 4 Elkhart Central 2
Crown Point got another solid pitching performance this time from sophomore Ron Plesac. Plesac allowed just one hit (six strikeouts) over the first six innings, after allowing two runs to score in the 7th he left with the tying runs on base. Nick Nauracy came in to close the door, retiring the next three batters to make Crown Point Regional Champion. C.J. Becerra had three hits in the game for Crown Point.
Regional 2: Champ: FW Carroll
Richmond 12 Lafayette Jefferson 6
Richmond jumped on the board early with five runs in the first. Jeff looked to be coming back, but Richmond scored six more runs in the sixth inning to put the game away and advance in the regional.
FW Carroll 6 Huntington North 5
Carroll held a 4-3 lead going into the 7th, but Evan Brown and Ethan Bartrom hit back-to-back solo homeruns to give HN a one run lead. Carroll responded in the bottom of the inning. Zach Vanlandingham drove in Austin Keathley to tie the game and one batter later Peyton Lengacher drove in Vanlandingham to win the game for Carroll.
FW Carroll 14 Richmond 4
Carroll’s offense was led by Grant Wilson who went 4-4 with two doubles, a RBI, and three runs scored. Remesnik had a triple and homerun in the game for Carroll. Carroll trailed 4-0 in the game, but similar to what they did against Huntington North they came back from an early deficit this time to claim a Regional Championship.
Regional 3: Champ – Cathedral
Cathedral 10 Brownsburg 0
Cathedral scored four runs in the fourth and fifth innings en route to a six inning victory.
Westfield 12 Whiteland 4
Burtron got the win allowing four runs in seven innings and striking out 11. Celleghin led the offense going 3-5 with a double, homerun, five RBIs, and two runs.
Cathedral 15 Westfield 5
Cathedral needed just five innings to claim another Regional Title. Cathedral’s offense was led by Phil Mosey who hit two homeruns.
Regional 4: Champ – Terre Haute South
Evansville Harrison 8 New Albany 1
Terre Haute South 18 Bloomington North 3
Terre Haute South pounded out 16 hits and batted around in the first and seventh. Mulvihill led the offense going 3-5 with a double, three RBIs, and two runs scored. Daugherty had two hits and three RBIs. Vaccaro, Maxwell, Tofaute, and Rupska all had two hits and two RBIs.
Terre Haute South 9 Evansville Harrison 5
Terre Haute South trailed 4-0 in the fifth inning, but tied the game in that inning and scored five runs in the sixth en route to a Regional Championship. Marlow led the offense with three hits, including a triple, three RBIs, and two runs scored. He also picked up the win on the mound throwing the last three innings allowing one hit and one run. Daugherty had two hits and scored twice, Reed homered and drove in two, and Wheatfill had a hit and two RBIs.

Regional 5: Champ - Mishawaka Marian
Mishawaka Marian 10 Hammond Clark 0
John Leszczynski improved to 7-0 on the year throwing all six innings allowing just three hits and striking out three. Chase Parker led the Marian offense picking up three hits, including a three run homerun, and five RBIs. Josh Turnock also had three hits and drove in two runs. Andrew Price added two doubles as Marian pounded out 15 hits in the six inning game.
Andrean 14 West Lafayette 3
Sophomore Jeremy Wright led the Andrean offense going 2-3 with two homeruns and six RBIs. Andrean also had two run homeruns from Tyler Ochi and Brandon Pavlina as the cruised to a five inning victory.
Mishawaka Marian 5 Andrean 2
Taylor Krugh picked up the win on the mound for Marian allowing just two runs on eight hits and striking out 10 over seven innings of work. Marian jumped out to an early lead with two runs in the first off of a RBI single from Andrew Price and a RBI double from Chase Parker (Parker finished with two doubles and two RBIs). Vince Ravotto drove in the final two runs for Marian with a double off the fence.
Regional 6: Champ – New Haven
Norwell 12 Yorktown 2
Norwell’s offense needed only four at bats to get 12 runs on 14 hits. Patten picked up the win allowing just three hits and Vanmeter homered.
New Haven 12 Northwood 1
Brandon Pease picked up the win as New Haven’s offense pounded out 14 hits. Salerno had two doubles and Brown homered as New Haven advanced to the regional championship.
New Haven 5 Norwell 4
Pease picked up another win as he shut the door in the 7th inning with the tying run on second base. New Haven jumped on the board early scoring two in the first. Norwell would tie the game in the fifth inning, but New Haven responded by scoring three in the bottom of the inning en route to a one run victory for a Regional Championship.
Regional 7: Champ - Crawfordsville
Crawfordsville 14 Mt. Vernon (Fortville) 4
Joel Hobson and Craig Brainard led the Crawfordsville offense with both going 3-4 with three RBIs, Brainard also scored twice and Hobson had a double. Mitchell Reeves and Jordan Kiger also went 3-4 with a RBI, Reeves scored twice and Kiger scored three times. Caleb Rasmussen was 2-3 with two RBIs.
Greensburg 15 Brebeuf 13
Crawfordsville 9 Greensburg 4
Cory Rice picked up the win allowing one unearned run on one hit and striking out six in five innings of work. Caleb Rasmussen and Joel Hobson led the Crawfordsville offense with both picking up three hits and driving in three runs. Rasmussen had a double and Hobson had a triple as Crawfordsville claimed the Regional Championship.
Regional 8: Champ - Edgewood
Heritage Hills 5 Mt. Vernon 1
Ty Simpson picked up the win throwing five innings allowing one unearned run on three hits and striking out eight. Wes Ward threw the final two innings allowing just one hit to get the save. Adam Price drove in two runs and Tyrey Burch was 2-3 with a triple, RBI, and run scored.
Edgewood 14 Silver Creek 1
Jake Bauer picked up the win allowing just one unearned run on two hits and striking out four. Zach Allam led the offense going 3-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored. Matt Newman also was 3-3 at the plate scoring four times and driving in one run. Phillips, Shute, and Ridge all had two hits and drove in two runs.
Edgewood 5 Heritage Hills 4
Kaleb Shute picked up the win going 6.1 innings allowing three runs on two hits. Jake Bauer came in for the last two outs and stranded the tying run to give the Mustangs the Regional Championship. Newman had two hits, two RBIs, and a run scored. Phillips and Allam both had a hit and a RBI in the game.

Regional 9: Champ – Hanover Central
Eastside 7 Culver Community 3
Hanover Central 9 Westview 5 F/11
Andy Wellwerts threw 10 innings allowing three earned runs on nine hits and striking out 13, but taking a no decision. Tyler Trepton pitched the 11thnot allowing a hit and striking out one batter to pick up the win. Mike Balick homered and drove in five runs for Hanover Central. Nick Laing and Nick Spangler both had two hits and drove in a run for HC. Nick Bollenbacher and Dan Stum also had two hits, Bollenbacher scored twice and Stum scored three times.
Hanover Central 10 Eastside 2
Hanover Central broke open a 2-2 game with an eight run fifth inning. Zac Maciejewski had a double, two RBIs, and two runs and Dan Stum went 2-4 with a RBI and two runs scored. Tyler Trepton and Nic Sampognaro combined on the mound allowing just eight hits and striking out seven between the two.
Regional 10: Champ – Taylor
Taylor 5 Delphi 3
Taylor trailed 3-0 after five innings, but Tyler Simmons hit a three run homerun to tie the game in the 6th. Shane Arnold had an infield single in the 7th to give Taylor their first lead of the game.
Northfield 6 Adams Central 1
Adam House picked up the win allowing just one unearned run on three hits and striking out seven over seven innings of work. Adam Roser and Ryan Keaffaber both had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs.
Taylor 1 Northfield 0
A great pitching duel between Taylor’s Clark and Northfield’s Keaffaber saw Taylor advance with one run scored in the fourth inning. Clark went all seven innings allowing just three hits and striking out eight to give Taylor the Regional Championship. Keaffaber took the tough loss also going all seven innings allowing just the one run on six hits and striking out six.
Regional 11: Champ – Park Tudor
Park Tudor 20 North Decatur 1
Wapahani 9 Centerville 3
Jon Keesling picked up the win throwing all seven innings allowing just one earned run on six hits and striking out six. Reynolds led the offense for Wapahani going 3-4 with a double, homerun, four RBIs, and a run scored. Estep went 1-2 with a homerun, three RBIs, and two runs scored. Dudley and Gardner also had two hits and drove in a run for Wapahani.

Regional 12: Champ – South Spencer
South Spencer 31 Linton-Stockton 10
South Spencer busted out for 29 hits in the game and had a 13 run 7th inning. South Spencer hit eight homeruns in the game led by Nathan Hall who had three and seven RBIs. Meece had two homeruns and Lauer, Phillips, and Franklin all hit one.
Covenant Christian 7 Providence 4
Cody Gaddis picked up the win on the mound and had two hits at the plate. Spencer Moore had a three run homerun to start the offense for CC in the first inning.
South Spencer 15 Covenant Christian 5
South Spencer’s offense was led by Michael Philipps who went 2-2 with a double, a homerun, and five RBIs. Jared Lauer had three hits in the game and Nathan Kuester had two hits and two RBIs.

Regional 13: Champ – South Central (Union Mills)
South Central (Union Mills) 10 Tri-County 7
South Central put up five runs in the bottom of the 5th to help them advance in the

South Central (Union Mills) 6 FW Blackhawk 5
South Central trailed 4-2 in the fourth inning, but scored four runs in the bottom of the frame and would hold on to the lead to win the Regional. Cody Young and Myles Sims had RBI singles in South Central’s four run fourth.
Regional 14: Champ – Lafayette Central Catholic
Seton Catholic 11 Wes-Del 1
Lafayette Central Catholic 18 Rockville 0
Lafayette CC hit five homeruns in the game and scored 11 run in the fifth as the smashed Rockville to advance in the Regional. Brett Haan threw all five innings allowing just one hit and striking out eight, he also homered. Jake Churchill and Ryan DeBoy both homered and drove in three runs.
Lafayette Central Catholic 15 Seton Catholic 1
Lafayette CC jumped out early scoring seven in the first inning, including a two-run double from Jake Churchill. Andrew Hubertz also had a two run double and a solo homerun in the game. Brett Haan also had two hits and a RBI. Austin Munn picked up the win allowing just two hits in five innings of work and striking out eight.
