Jacob Williams, a 5-foot-10, 170-pound RHP from Monticello HS, has committed to Southern Illinois University. Williams missed a chunk of his junior season with an arm injury, but he showed at the Prep Baseball Report Preseason All-State Showcase that he has a top-level arm. Williams impressed with his 86-88 mph fastball and sharp breaking ball. Williams joins Boylan C/1B Zach Stoner and De La Salle RHP Anthony Shimkus in the Salukis
