College commitments from around the state:

Mark Munizzi, a left-handed hitting catcher from De La Salle HS, has committed to McKendree University. Munizzi, who hit .400 as a junior, was one of the top performers at the PBR Unsigned Senior Showcase in October.

Luke Coffman, a SS from Chicago Christian HS, has committed to Prairie State College. The athletic infielder batted .358 as a junior last season.

Nick Borders, an OF from Harrisburg HS, has committed to Southeastern Illinois College. Borders helped the Bulldogs to a second-place finish in Class 2A last season, finishing with a 40-1 record.

Tyler McKenzie, a 1B from Bismark-Henning HS, has committed to Danville Area Community College.
