LEWIS CENTER, Ohio (Oct. 16, 2024) – Prep Baseball Tournaments is excited to announce its partnership with Jennings Sports Park to manage baseball operations at its new state-of-the-art, 57-acre sports complex located in Lewis Center, Ohio, which is just north of the capital Columbus. Upon its expected completion in late 2024, the facility will feature six multi-use turf fields, with four centrally located around a 50,000-square-foot pavilion equipped with concessions, restrooms, and additional amenities.

“We are thrilled to bring our experience and dedication to this exciting new complex,” said Blake Hibler, Senior Vice President of Tournaments at Prep Baseball. “With the growing demand for elite-level baseball tournaments in the Midwest, Jennings Sports Park is set to become a premier destination. We expect to host more than 30 events annually, drawing high school-aged baseball players from across the United States and Canada.”

The $6.7 million bond secured for Jennings Sports Park supports crucial infrastructure improvements, including drainage, sanitation, and lighting, which will help create an outstanding venue for baseball, as well as football, lacrosse, and soccer. Prep Baseball will manage the complex’s baseball operations, ensuring an optimized experience for athletes, families, and visitors.

Adjacent to the nearby Evans Farms community, Jennings Sports Park is expected to attract more than 500,000 visitors annually, contributing to the region’s continued growth. The fields, equipped with video scoreboards and livestream capabilities, offer elite-level facilities for players and spectators alike.

As a recognized leader in baseball scouting and event management, Prep Baseball is committed to fostering development in the athletes that play at its facilities.

“Teaching our youth the importance of dedication to their craft is crucial,” said Brad Jennings, the founder of Jennings Park. “This park is a testament of our commitment and belief and nurturing these values.”

The first baseball tournaments at Jennings Sports Park are anticipated for the 2025 season, when four of the new turf fields will be completely installed, with two more youth-sized fields coming along the way. The complex will open in February, fit with a two-story concession stand and outdoor batting cages at the four-field quad. The facility is poised to become a flagship location for Prep Baseball’s growing tournament operations across the nation, and the company’s homegrown roots in Illinois and Indiana will help acclimate Jennings Sports Park to quality baseball events right away.

The next phases of development at the park will begin construction in the spring and the summer, when Jennings Sports Park will add those aforementioned youth fields, a 50,000 sq. foot pavilion, as well as four addtional multi-use baseball fields.
