Pat O'Neil Retires
December 3, 2010
Legendary Coach Pat O'Neil retired today. He will be sadly missed within the baseball community. His record at Brownsburg was 253-49, including a three year run from 03-05 in which he lost less than 5 games. This stretch included two state runner-ups and a State Championship in 05. The 2005 team was arguably the best team in the 2000s or possibly ever. Coach O'Neil's 2005 team finished with a 35-0 record. The team featured Lance Lynn, 39th pick in the 2008 draft, and Drew Storen, the 10th pick of the 2009 draft.
Coach O'Neil has put over 40 players into college and has seen 4 players go on to play professional baseball.
Coach O'Neil is a 3-time Hoosier Crossroads Coach of the Year and the 2005 Indiana Coach of the Year.
