At long last, the updated and expanded Class of 2012 rankings have been released in conjunction with the new Prep Baseball Report magazine. We rank the top 50 sophomore prospects.

While there were several climbers in the Class of 2012, the top was populated by many of the same names. Marian Catholic LHP/OF Brett Lilek heads the class once again, followed closely by Jacobs RHP Henry Gigeous, Brother Rice SS/RHP Ryan Koziol, Simeon C Blake Hickman, Highland Park C Jason Goldstein, Warren RHP/3B Patrick Kenney, St. Viator OF/LHP Jack Czeszewski, Plainfield South C/SS/RHP Jake Roberts, Benton RHP Tyler Leffler, Oak Park C Jack Picchiotti and Oswego East RHP Matt Schultz.
