MLB Draft Primer: Recruiting Class Risk

While the arrival of every summer brings with it monumental risks for college’s best prep recruiting classes, this year’s angst among college coaches might be driven most by the vast uncertainty surrounding the 2024 MLB Draft. This is one of the more unsettled drafts in recent memory, and that uncertainty is most prevalent in regards to this group of high school seniors. November’s Signing Day Primer provided a sneak peek at some of the (potentially) impactful recruiting classes from across the country, and much of the sentiment from that piece remains the same.
