With over 50 MLB scouts in attendance, Missouri players Johnny Eierman (pictured right), Danny Heim, Lance Jeffries, Spencer Johnson, Isaac Geisinger, and Matt Brown displayed their talents, and put themselves on the radar of a few MLB teams.

Number one ranked player in the state MIF Johnny Eierman (6-foot-1, 195 pounds) from Warsaw HS (pictured right) impressed with above average range to both his backhand  and forehand side, making one of the more impressvie plays of the day going behind second base to field a ball and making strong accurate throw. At the plate, Eierman displayed gap-to-gap power spraying the ball over The Max complex. Eierman has the tools, ability, and athleticism to excel at the next level. Johnny also had one of the top 60 times, running a 6.81

OF Lance Jeffries from McCluer, the number four ranked player in Missouri, ran the third fastest time in to 60 (6.75) and showed athletic abilities in the outfield, displaying one of the more accurate arms with throws to third base and home, and recording the highest velocity of the outfielders at 91 mph. Jeffries perhaps caught the attention of scouts in attendance during his second round of batting practice, with a level swing and fast bat speed. The showing by Jeffries caught the eyes of many scouts and had them talking about his abilities.

Danny Heim (6-foot, 200-pounds), the RHP from Parkway North, sat 85-87 mph, topping out at 88 mph. Heim helped his draft stock by throwing nothing but strikes, using good back side drive and a quick, smooth arm action.  Heim showed above average command of a tight curve ball, late moving change up and a cutter, which may be his best pitch.

The athletic built OF Isaac Geisinger (6-foot, 225-pounds)  from Staley North HS demonstrated a good ability to get to the ball quickly in the outfield and showed off an above average arm (third highest at 89 mph) with good accuracy. At the plate, Geisinger is a pure power hitter, showing good use of the left center field gap. Geisinger also ran a 7.11 in the 60.

Class of 2012 Spencer Johnson (6-foot-4, 200-pounds) from Parkview HS demonstrated smooth fielding actions at first base, but it was his hitting that got the most notice. Johnson demonstrated a powerful stroke launching hard line drives from gap-to-gap, with one of the most impressive power displays of the event, and most impressive for the 2012 participants. Johnson is the number one ranked player in the Class of 2012 going into the season and has college coaches and pro scouts talking about him.

Class of 2013 Matt Brown (6-foot-2, 207 pounds) was one of three sophmores to participate in the Super 60. In the field, Brown, as he has shown at past PBR events, displayed smooth fielding technique and an strong accurate arm. During his rounds of batting practice, Matt showed glimpses of what makes his the number one ranked Class of 2013 player, with a smooth level swing and hitting the ball to all fields. Brown is one of the most projectable players in the Class of 2013 and will be someone to watch over the next few years.
