Kirkwood right-hander makes his commitment

Griff Goodrich, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound right-hander from Kirkwood High School, has made a verbal commitment to continue his career at the University of Missouri next season.

This past season, Goodrich was 6-3 with a 2.10 ERA in 50 innings for Kirkwood. He fanned 60 batters while walking only 22 and held opposing hitters to a .185 batting average. A solid two-way player, the going-to-be-senior also hit .433 with seven doubles, two triples, 15 RBI, 15 runs scored and a .472 on-base percentage
