The inaugural Texas State Games that took place in October of 2022 set the foundation for what the event has exploded into. At that event were more than $5 million is signing bonuses, a handful of the top prospects to make it to campus in the past two classes, and a smattering of the nation’s top budding stars in the ‘25 and ‘26 classes.

Fast forward two years and the Lone Star State’s immense talent forced the implementation of an Underclass State Games meant to introduce the recruiting world to the next wave of impact players. This year’s event found its home on the campus of Texas A&M within the gorgeous confines of Blue Bell Park in College Station. Nearly 100 of the top up-and-coming players in the 2027 & 2028 class came together for a two-day event that provided a pristine experience thanks to a multitude of opportunities to perform. Routinely producing some of the best talent in the country, the state of Texas did not disappoint, and the event was packed with talent.

While NCAA recruiting rules have curtailed commitments, it has not stopped premier programs from intently building follow lists among underclassmen. In order to maintain a winning edge, these programs are building strong databases with hopes of hitting the ground running for in person evaluations throughout the spring and summer. With that being said, below is an Impact 20 List of 2027s (plus 2 standout ‘28s) from the Texas Underclass State Games.

Note: This event was truly 100 deep. The depth was astounding.
