The future of Illinois baseball will be in full display this Saturday for the Prep Baseball Report?s Underclass Invitational at the Max. Most of the top Class of 2013 and 2014 players will be in attendance for this invitation-only event.

More than 80 prospects from all over the state will converge at the Max-McCook Athletic & Exposition Center?s pristine 125,000 square foot open-turf facility. The event begins at 9 a.m. with position players and catchers. Pitchers will begin at roughly 1:30 p.m.

The roster of players looks to be the most talented Prep Baseball Report underclassmen event we?ve had since 2005, when the top prospects at the event included Sean Flanagan (Downers Grove North HS, Iowa), Daniel Jimenez (St. Charles North HS, Draft), Louis Diaz (Von Steuben HS, Oakton CC), Kyle Hunter (Galesburg HS, Draft/Kansas State), Tanner Witt (Lake Zurich HS, Kansas State), Dominick D?Agata (Schaumburg HS, Purdue) and Adam Davis (Driscoll Catholic HS, Illinois), to name a few.
