His CH has life and good deception at 73-76 mph. He uses his bottom half well, to go along with a quick arm action toward the plate. Baumgardner's arm and athleticism make him a high follow in the 2020 class for West Virginia.

Eric Illar, St. Marys HS, Class of 2019
On the mound, a RHP who works the zone with three pitches. The delivery is simple, is balanced throughout,
repeats it for the most part. The hands start at his waist and work up with his controlled, high leg raise. The separation is on time, front shoulder is strong and stays in line with target. The arm action is longer on the back side, works out of a ¾ slot. The fastball was clocked at 81-82 mph, and was up to 83 mph with good action to the arm side.
Braydon McClung, Logan HS, Class of 2020
McClung threw out of a high 3/4 delivery. Mechanically sound with a repeatable motion. His FB sat 79-80 mph with a little movement. CB at 65-66 mph was inconsistent but at best demonstrated late break and moderate depth with 11-5 shape. CH at 71 mph was thrown with good sell and consistent arm side fade/ sinking action.
Gregory Smith, Tygarts Valley HS, Class of 2019
On the mound, Smith displayed a repeatable delivery out of the 3/4 arm slot. Smith's FB sat 79-80 mph with life. Smith's CH sat 67-69 and was deceptive at the plate. Overall, Smith is one of the best 2019's that are still available in West Virginia.
Casey Smith, University HS, Class of 2021
On the mound, the 6-foot-1, 160-pound righty displays a tight to his body leg kick with midsection turn at the top of his delivery. Smith continues his delivery and releases out of a low-mid 3/4 slot that provides deception at the plate. His FB sat 78-79 with arm side run. Smith's CB sat 66-67 mph and showed sweeping action. Smith's CH is thrown out of the same slot and arm speed, making it a deceptive weapon. Smith will be arm to follow in the 2021 Class in West Virginia.
Evan Smith, University HS, Class of 2021
On the mound, Smith, identical twins with his brother Casey, hides the ball extremely well out of a low-mid 3/4 slot. Smith's FB sat 78-79 mph with arm side run at the plate. His CB sat 68-70 mph and CH sat 73-74 mph. Smith throws all three pitches out of the same arm slot, which will cause some deception to hitters. Samuel Romano, Notre Dame HS, Class of 2020
Romano sat 77-78 from a high 3/4 arm slot with a quick arm motion. Fastball showed good action while his Curveball at 66-68 displayed slider break. Romano's delivery is compact, and finishes in line with his target. Would benefit from developing a third pitch.
Jack Bifano, Bridgeport HS, Class of 2021
On the mound, Bifano uses his 6'4 frame to generate good momentum and tilt towards his target. He throws out of a high 3/4 arm slot and does a good job getting on top of his pitches. His FB sat 76-77 mph, along with a 68 mph CH and 63 mph CB. Overall, Bifano is a good athlete and is a player to keep an eye on in the 2021 Class.

Gage Bibey, Philip Barbour HS, Class of 2021
On the mound, Bibey throws out of a 3/4 slot with a high leg kick. He shows good mechanics and doesn't spin off his target. His FB sat at 75-76 mph with some cut, along with a 73 mph CH and 70 mph CB. Overall Bibey is advanced for his age and is definite follow for the Class of 2021 in West Virginia.
Tyler Wilkinson, Bridgeport HS, Class of 2020
On the mound, Wilkinson throws out of a low 3/4 slot which creates arm side run on his pitches. Wilkinson's FB sat 74-75 mph to go along with a CB that sat 61-63 mph and CH that sat 65-68 mph. All three of his pitches had good movement at the plate.
Trey Washenitz, Fairmont Senior HS, Class of 2020

On the mound, the 160-pound righty displayed solid mechanics and throws out of a high 3/4 arm slot. His delivery was consistently repeated as he uses his body well during his delivery. His FB sat 74-75 mph and topped out at 77 mph. His CH shows great action at the plate and was clocked at 71-73 mph. Petty throws his CB out of the same arm slot as both his FB and CH, which will benefit him as his velocity continues to climb. With his sound mechanics, Petty will be a arm to follow in the 2021 Class.
Dustin Corley, Parkersburg South HS, Class of 2021
On the mound, Corley throws out of a high 3/4 arm slot and slightly across his body. He demonstrates good mechanics and form in his delivery to the plate. His FB sat 73-75 mph with good action low in the strikezone. He also displayed a solid 11/5 CB at 68 mph.
Jordan Mize, Greenbrier East HS, Class of 2021
On the mound, Mize's FB sat 71-72 with some late run at the plate. Pitching motion is long and exaggerated, but does have late life on all of his pitches. Mize recorded his CH at 61-62 mph and his CB at 61-62 mph. Mize will be an intriguing follow in the 2021 Class.
