With great pleasure, we bring to you Prep Baseball Report Mississippi. Our mission in Mississippi mirrors that of other state-specific coverage: to provide the most comprehensive in-state scouting information, to promote high school baseball and, ultimately, help Mississippi prep athletes achieve their dreams of playing baseball at the next level. Our goal is to be the year-round No. 1 resource for prep baseball in Mississippi.

Although it will take some time to achieve the status of our other 34 states, we are certain we have the right person to thoroughly, accurately and honestly scout Mississippi:

Ronald Sims.

Born and raised in Mississippi, Sims has been entrenched in the state's baseball landscape throughout his professional experiences. Prior to becoming the Prep Baseball Report's Mississippi Scouting Director, Sims served as the recruiting coordinator at Copiah-Lincoln Community College for two years, and spent a year as an assistant coach at East Central Community College. Sims also worked under John Cohen at Mississippi State for five years, during which he helped the Bulldogs to the College World Series in 2013.

Known for his work ethic and affable personality, Sims will now bring his passion for scouting and helping athletes to Mississippi's prep baseball scene. Sims will work tirelessly to bring to you the most comprehensive high school baseball information Mississippi has ever seen and provide scouting coverage to all corners of the state. Mississippi-specific events will begin in the summer. Prep Baseball Report events are designed to give players the maximum exposure needed to advance to the next level. Not only will players receive high-level exposure from college coaches, but all players at events will be videotaped, and the edited performance will be hosted online. All players' profiles, verified statistics and scouting reports can be searched in our expansive player database.

Our flagship state, Prep Baseball Report Illinois, was launched in 2005. Over the last 12 years, the Prep Baseball Report has evolved into one of the country's biggest and most respected independent scouting services, with a singular focus of providing comprehensive coverage in every state we are in. More than 750 colleges and pro scouts now subscribe to the Prep Baseball Report multimedia services.
