Carlon had an outstanding start to the season going 4 innings with 1 H, 0 ER. The 6’4 lefty showed his ability to throw strikes and utilize his FB (89-91, sat 90). Along with throwing a gem of a game to start the year, Carlon had acouple knocks on the day at the plate with one of them being a home run. Corona Del Sol went on to beat the Saguaro Sabercats by a score of 14-0.

Jaiden Lo Re SS / C / Corona Del Sol, AZ / 2025

Arizona State Commit Jaiden Lo Re, started the hit parade for Corona Del Sol on Wednesday night hitting a bomb over the left field fence. Lo Re was a stand out at this past winters Pre Season All State Games where he showed high level actions with the glove and short compact swing in the box.

Roch Cholowsky SS / 3B / Hamilton , AZ / 2023

UCLA Commit and #1 ranked prospect in the state of Arizona put on a show Wednesday. Late in the game in a 2K count Cholowsky hit one over the left center field fence to give Hamilton some cushion against a solid Hoover team. With high level athleticism and plus actions on both sides of the ball Cholowsky is a high level draft prospect for the 2023 draft. After a late push by Hoover, Hamilton was able to hang on for a 7-6 victory.

Liu Rodriguez Jr SS / 2B / Chaparral , AZ / 2025

University of Arizona Commit and #11 ranked prospect in the 2025 class had a standout day at the plate showing high level bat to ball skills and a quality eye. Rodriguez stays planted in his legs well, works a light toe lift load and works everything to the middle of the field. With Liu's size we see him projecting as a second baseman at the next level.

Zach Wadas 1B / OF / Hamilton, AZ / 2023

Texas Christian University commit Zach Wadas has had a huge couple of months leading up the First Look Tournament. Wadas was a stand out at this past falls Area Code games where he showed high level power at the plate in BP and in game play. In yesterdays game vs Orange Lutheran Wadas crushed a high majestic bomb down the right field line for a home run. While Wadas has more than enough power for the next level, the only true question is how consistent he will be vs high level pitching.

Jackson Babione SS / RHP / Chaparral, AZ / 2023

Perhaps the most intriging player to come out of First Look up to this point is uncommitted infielder Jackson Babione. Coming off a monster junior season hitting .462 with 9 doubles, 4 triples and a home run. Babione has shown to be one of the top uncommitted prospects in the state of Arizona. Babione has a wide stance in the box with a good bend in the knees and a long powerful path through the zone. We look forward to following Babione the rest of the weekend and into his senior campaign for Chaparral.

AJ Diaz SS / 3B / Hamilton, AZ / 2024

University of Arizona commit and #7 ranked prospect in the 2024 class has seen minimal playing time at the varsity level for a loaded Hamilton squad. However, after the last couple days we see Diaz playing a major role in the Hamilton offense in his junior campaign. In yesterdays game vs Orange Lutheran Diaz landed on a ball driving it to deep center field off the scoreboard for a home run. Diaz has a physical build with a short compact swing that has major upside for high level power.

Aydin Chippindall LHP / Chaparral , AZ / 2023

With one of the more dominating performances on the mound was senior left handed pitcher Aydin Chippindall. With 4.2 innings of work 9ks and 1ER, leading the Firebirds in a 8-1 victory over St. Joseph (CA). While Chippindall doesn't have an over powering FB sitting 78-80, he showed a tremendous amount of pitchability. Chippindall showed a quality 3-pitch mix for strikes and a SLV that worked 64-65 with 2650+ spin.

Rohan Lettow RHP / Hamilton, AZ / 2023

The Uncommitted RHP out of Hamilton HS threw a perfect game in the first annual PBR First Look Invitational Powered by Legacy. Everything was working on Friday night for the Righty. His ability to work the corners with a 3-pitch mix and a FB sitting 86-88. Lettow has a short over the top action and get into his legs well generating easy velocity.

Connor Mattison RHP / 1B / Canyon View, AZ / 2023

Grand Canyon University commit Connor Mattison was lights on Friday night. Mattison went 6.2 inn allowing only 2 runs against a solid Orange Lutheran team. Mattison's fastball sat 90-91 with some arm side run, but the real seperator for him is his fall off the table changeup that has shown to be a plus pitch for any opposing hitter.

Liam Wilson C / OF / Hamilton, AZ / 2024

Harvard commit and Futures Games participant has put together some quality AB's this week at the PBR First Look including this double to the left center field gap. Wilson has a short compact swing with quick twitch in the bat. Behind the plate Liam has shown to be a work horse with good receiving ability and blocking skills. Wilson's pop time ranges from 1.95-2.0.

Joshua Tiedemann 3B / RHP / Hamilton, AZ / 2023

Texas Christian University commit Joshua Tiedemann has put together quality at bats all weekend here at the PBR First Look. Tiedemann is a high level prospect in the state of Arizona for the 2023 draft for good reason. The TCU Commit has a quick powerful swing from the right side with tons of confidence when he steps in the box. In the field Tiedemann has a clean glove with a strong and accurate arm.

Ocean View 6 (2-1) vs #8Canyon View 4 (0-4)

Jackson Reid OF / 3B / Campo Verde, AZ / 2023

Chandler Gilbert commit Jackson Reid is off to a great start to the season. Although we are only 4 games in, It feels as though every time Reid steps in the box he is bound to put a good at bat together. The 2023 outfielder has a wide stance in the box, with a fluid direct path that produces a quality line drive profile. In the outfield Reid has a quality first step with above average tracking ability.

Zander Bratspis SS / RHP / Saguaro , AZ / 2026

One of the top uncommitted prospects in the state of Arizona for the 2026 class is infielder Zander Bratspis. Bratspis made his first impression on the PBR Arizona staff at last summers Junior Future Games where he split time at second base and shortstop with fellow top 10 prospect Carter Macanas. Bratspis has a high level contact tool at the plate with above average bat speed for his age. In the infield Bratspis has tons of confidence in the glove with an 81 mph arm across the diamond.

Hagen Wright OF / Red Mountain, AZ / 2025

Arizona State commit Hagen Wright had a big day at the plate for Red Mountain on Saturday morning, having what turned out to be the game winning home run in a 1-0 victory over El Dorado (CA). Wright is a big body outfielder standing at 6-foot-5 215 pounds. At the plate Wright has a tall stance with long levers creating big time power for the 2025 grad. In the outfield Wright moves well for his size as a 7.1 runner but his arm is a separator as it has been up to 90 mph in previous events.
