A wet week in Virginia and DC led to a lot of cancellations and limited action. As a result, there ended up not being much change in the Power 25 this week. The Top 5 stayed the same as all five teams either won their games or had no games. With that being the case, Liberty Christian is again No. 1 and Benedictine is still at No. 2, with No. 3 Lake Braddock, No. 4 St. Christopher's, and No. 5 James River (Midlothian) rounding out the Top 5 again.
Paul VI Catholic stayed at No. 6 despite a loss to Ryken during the week as they picked up a big win on Sunday against No. 11 St. John's, tightening the race in the WCAC.
The biggest riser in this week's rankings is No. 17 Freedom (South Riding). The Eagles had big preseason expectations and recovered from a mid-season lull last week by handing No. 7 Woodgrove its first loss of 2018 on Monday.
Back in the rankings this week at No. 25 is Western Branch, which continued its recent run by picking up wins over No. 21 Great Bridge and Nansemond River.
Enough talk, lets look at the Power 25 for 4/30
