After a week off due to weather and spring breaks for half of our coverage area, the VA/DC Power 25 returns this week with a lot of shakeup from top to bottom. We add six teams to the rankings this week, but the top two stay the same as No. 1 Liberty Christian moved its record to 5-0, including a win over Jefferson Forrest. Back again at No. 2 is Benedictine, which went 4-0 over the last 10 days to move its record to 8-0 overall. Up to No. 4 is Lake Braddock, who beat Oakton to remain undefeated in Virginia before going to Florida for spring break and going 2-2 against high level competition.
Another big riser is Hickory, up to No. 6 this week after a blowout win over Western Branch. The biggest overall riser in the rankings is St. John's College, up to No. 8 after capping off a 5-0 week with a win over previously undefeated Paul VI.
Returning to the rankings this week at No. 13 is Battlefield after the Bobcats dominated in South Carolina over break, picking up wins over Robinson, Yorktown, Chantilly, and No. 14 Riverside. Also new in the rankings this week at No. 15 is Potomac, who won the Let's Play Two tournament and is 7-0 with wins over Patriot, McLean and Marshall. McLean also joins the rankings at No. 17.
