It is with great excitement that we release to you today our first update to the Va/DC Class of 2024 rankings with our Top 50 release. Following today's Top 50 release, we will unveil our full 200 player release on Wednesday.
We have a new #1 player in the VA/DC 2024 class. Dalton Wentz, the 2021 Future Games alum, had a strong spring and has built on that even more this summer. The South Carolina commit was up to 92 mph this spring and had a strong showing in the NPI at Lakepoint. His combination of loud tools, athleticism, and polish have also moved him into the Top 50 in the country.

Moving up two spots to the #2 overall in the state is UVA commit, Aiden Harris. Harris had a standout year at Manchester where he was the Lancers' ace and helped lead them to a regional title. The Wahoos commit was up to 90 at the Underclass State Games in June and showed easy power to all fields.

Our last highlighted player and biggest mover inside the Top 25 is Jacob Moore. Moore has moved up over seventy spots into the #14 overall in VA/DC. The Cosby outfielder had a huge day at Underclass State Games, running a 6.59 60 and displaying his power at the plate. He has continued his trend up with his combination of speed and physical tools. Moore will definitely be a guy to watch at the 2022 Future Games.
