In the fall of 2014 PBR Colorado released our first ever 2015, 2016, and 2017 rankings. In the past three years Prep Baseball Report Colorado has had the opportunity to cover amateur baseball like no other organization has ever been able to do before in the state of Colorado. Between scouting numerous games  and recently having a great opportunity to see more 2019 grads at the Top Prospect Games, scouting summer and  fall baseball games, hosting the Colorado Fall Prospect Games, and recently hosting our 3rd annual Underclass Invitational, we have been able to move our 2019 rankings from 85 to 100. These rankings will for sure grow and change as we get out to watch more players in this spring.

Staying at No. 1 overall 2019 is Texas Christian commit SS/RHP Riley Cornelio of Pine Creek High School. 6-Foot-2, 160 pounds. Bats and throws right. Athletic, wiry, and elastic. Advanced high school hitter at the plate. Has narrow open stance and aggressive stride towards ball that produced a 90 mph exit velocity off a tee. Arm is electric at both short and on the mound. At short glove to hand separation works good. Tall lanky short stop with good range to both glove hand and back hand sides. 88 mph across diamond with accuracy. On mound Cornelio has athletic frame, and arm works great. In two innings struck out 6. Delivery is very simple and explodes to the mound. Very good leg drive. Fastball sat 87-88 and will easily increase with age. Could project to be mid 90's going into college especially since he's only 160 pounds. One of the top prospects in the country in the 2019 class.

Moving up to  No. 2 is Oregon State commit SS Justin Boyd of Legend HS. 6-foot, 170 pounds. Bats and throws right. Looks the part, and backs it up.  Appears to have put on about 10-15 pounds of muscle. Has a cool, confident aura without being cocky. At the plate he is balanced with a simple, fluent load of the hands and little/no stride. Bat speed is quick, and he laced line drives in his BP round. 89 mph exit velocity. Has the arm strength to stick at short, and the glove is advanced for his age. Bounces around with athletic quickness and makes plays to both sides with throws from all angles.  Ran a 4.28 home to first.

Staying at No. 3 in our rankings is RHP/OF Parker Gregory of Pine Creek High School. 6-foot-1, 180 pounds. Bats left throws right. Arm works free and easy and has quick hand speed. Pounded fastballs down in the zone and they jump at the plate. Steps across his body which leads to some natural cut at times. More velocity to come. Changeup works well. 11/5 slurve is a tight, out pitch with multi-plane break. Sharp at times and has a chance to be a swing and miss pitch. Was up to 86 mph, and you could expect him 88-89 by August. Threw entirely out of the stretch. Solid prospect and player to follow.

Coming in at No. 4 in our rankings is Arkansas commit OF of Bryce Mathews of Chaparral. Already 6-foot-5, 180 pounds. Bats left and throws right. 6-foot-4, 185 pounds. Bats left, throws right. Tall, athletic frame with long levers. Physical Big bat speed that produced 92 mph exit velocity. Hands work well, but has a tendency to be bottom hand dominant. Swung with wood in live round and ball really carries with gap to gap power right now and an uphill path. Quick hands work to the ball and then get out of the zone just as quick. Looks easy for him. Solid numbers on the day. 92 mph exit velo, 4.22 home to first. Threw 78 mph from OF. Has confidence and swagger. Player to follow.

Coming in at No 5 is LHP/OF Mitchell Morales of Broomfield HS. 6-foot, 155 pounds, Morales has a lankly frame that you can see has multiple more inches to grow. Fastball was 83 mph but is on you quick. Batters struggle to barrel the ball against him. Arm is loose and easy. At the plate stands tall, narrow stance, has backwards toe-tap stride, and has quick hands to the ball. Sprays the ball all over the field. Registered a 82 mph exit velocity. Could speed up actions in outfield, but has a strong arm at 82 mph. Ran a 7.30 60.

New to the Top 10 are LHP Iain Isdale of Chaparral HS, and Calvin Hunt  of Ralston Valley
