As we release this week’s Summer Team Rankings, a new No.1 has emerged in Franklin HS. This week the Sabers have knocked off top ranked Oak Creek and improved to a 15-5 record playing in the tough Greater Metro Conference. Oak Creek dropped to No. 2 with the loss.
Kettle Moraine jumped up to the No. 3 spot after winning nine in a row including a win over ranked Muskego. Cedarburg gets back into the rankings after winning seven of nine including wins over Plymouth and Homestead.
Menomonee Falls also gets back into the top ten at No. 8 after winning seven of their last nine including wins over Franklin, Oak Creek and Brookfield Central. Don’t let the 14-8 record of the Indians fool you as they look like they might have turned the corner after losing five in a row earlier in the season.
Just on the outside looking in was Wauwatosa West at 15-3, Pius XI at 16-2, and Whitefish Bay who has dropped out of the top ten after losing their last three and six of their last 10.
