Sometimes you can find big talent in small places. In East Tennessee, about 60 miles east of Knoxville, West Greene High School Head Coach Adrian Sauceman thinks he has an unsigned senior that needs to be known about.
James Marshall is a 6-foot ,185-pound RHP/SS who plays a big part in the West Greene baseball program.
“James was clocked as high as the upper 80’s last year in the District Tournament,” Sauceman stated. “He is a talented multi-sport athlete who made all-district in both baseball and football,
While Marshall may be known around West Greene for his arm strength on the mound, Sauceman says he does well as a position player, too.
“James has good bat speed and runs a 7.2- 60-yard dash with an aggressive style on the bases,” Sauceman said. “He is also very good defensively.”
Though Sauceman wasn’t sure of Marshall’s GPA, he says he is a good student that performs well in the classroom.
Look for Marshall to play a key role for the West Greene baseball program this spring.
