Arkansas Scouting Director
Tucker Mann, is a 6-foot, 215-pound RHP/1B, which plays for the Little Rock Central Tigers and head coach Rusty Passini. On the mound he competes with a fastball 82-84 mph with arm side run, his secondary pitch is an 11/5 curveball with sharp break. His change up lacks depth but he competes in the strike zone with it. Like most senior leaders Mann’s make up is a huge plus, Coach Passini expanded on that saying “Tucker is an extremely hard working guy. He has completely dedicated himself to becoming a better baseball player. Mann is a tough nosed kid with a bulldog mentality.” When asked about Mann’s baseball ability this is what he had to say “He works with a quick pace and fills up the strike zone. He has deception from both the stretch and with windup hiding the ball until late in his delivery.” Mann is an NCAA academic qualifier with a 2.9 GPA and 20 ACT.
