Today’s unsigned senior spotlight is Cal Jacklin. Jacklin is an unsigned senior from Kettle Moraine Lutheran HS. Last season Jacklin was a second team all-district selection, which followed up a 2011 season where he also was selected to a second team all-district. His sophomore year he hit .453 with six home runs, nine doubles and 41 RBI, a pretty impressive line for a sophomore.

Jacklin is an athletically built 6-foot-3, 190-pound shortstop who has a very projectable frame. Defensively, Jacklin shows concise footwork and reliable hands while delivering strikes across the infield at 73 mph.

Offensively, Jacklin has an open set-up, and he shows a level swing with good balance as he squares up balls to all fields.

Jacklin is an unsigned senior to keep an eye on in 2013, as he looks to keep posting solid numbers and lead Kettle Moraine to a successful season.
