Scouting Report

April 2015 – Fieger took the mound against St. Xavier and turned in a very solid outing. The RHP uses short arm action through a high-3/4 arm slot with regular effort in his delivery. Fieger showed an uptick in velocity from the Preseason All-State Showcase with his fastball sitting 81-83 mph and touching 84 on a few occasions. He showed improved feel for his 67-69 mph curveball and shows advanced feel for his 72-73 mph changeup that he has the confidence to throw on any count. In fact, Fieger threw the changeup on fastball counts on several occasions which clearly kept hitters off balance.
