Scouting Director – Wisconsin
Today’s unsigned senior spotlight is on Menomonee Falls senior Cole Hernikl. Hernikl is a middle infielder who is double play partners with Illinois-Chicago commit, Brett Krause. The Indians have a formidable infield presence with the combo of Krause and Hernikl.
Hernikl is an excellent leadoff hitter. At 5-foot-9, 175 pounds, Hernikl lead his team in on-base percentage, and set a school record stealing 47 bases for the Indians as a junior.
Hernikl also collected 2nd team all-conference, 2nd team all-state, and 1st team all-suburban awards in 2012.
Hernikl will be a huge asset to the Indians success in 2013 as he will continue to get the offense started.
