Kenston right-handed pitcher Nathan Blake is one of the top uncommitted seniors in the Buckeye State.
The 48th ranked prospect in Ohio's class of 2014 is still exploring his options as the early signing period approaches.
With a fastball that sits in the mid to upper 80's, Blake is attracting attention from a handful of programs.
Still a bit on the raw side, Blake has plenty of room for growth at the next level.
"Wright State is my top option and they're coming really close to making a decision with me real soon," Blake noted.
He continued, "They have shown a lot of interest. I met coaches Parker, Lovelady, and Mercer at their camp last weekend."
Recently, Blake made a trip to nearby Mount Union, where he met with coaches and toured the campus and athletic facilities.
In addition, Blake, who carries a 4.1 grade point average, is receiving interest from a program outside the state of Ohio.
"Coach Santello from U Penn has expressed an interest in me. We have been talking on a weekly basis and are trying to work out a college visit," he explained.
Blake will be participating in the Arizona Senior Fall Classic from October 10th through 13th.
