With 2020 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best 2021 high school coverage that can be found anywhere. Starting in January, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2021 Spring Team Preview: University School Preppers

Team Name: University School Preppers
Head Coach: Rob McNerney
Division: II
2019 Record: 10-14-1
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 3/3

2021 Team Strengths:

  • Pitching - We have a lot of depth on the mound.
  • Defense - We should be very good defensively, particularly up the middle.

Coach Outlook: "This is an extremely exciting time for University School Baseball. We have an entirely new varsity coaching staff, filled with several young assistant coaches who are hungry to impact the program and develop our players. We have a very large group of freshman and sophomores that will make for a younger team, but thankfully we will also have a small core of juniors and seniors that have provided excellent leadership thus far. The players are very committed to getting better and have been working hard since September. We are really looking forward to seeing the men in action."

  • Peter Bambakidis, RHP/OF, 2021, 6-2/180 pounds, R/R. 2 year starter. St.Olaf commit.
