On Tuesday, July 19, 24 prospects from across the state of Louisiana participated in the Prep Baseball Report Underclass Showcase at Holy Cross high school in New Orleans, LA.

Today, Prep Baseball Report Louisiana takes a look at the catchers that were in attendance.
Catchers
+ Connor Dickinson, C, Teurlings Catholic HS(2019)
A 5-foot-9, 170-pound catcher with a medium, strong frame. Right-handed hitter that hits from athletic setup, slight load, toe-tap, and solid balance. Gaop to gap type hitter with some rhythm, slightly uphill path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 77 mph. Solid defender with average hands, solid footwork, and clean exchanges. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 63 mph and a pop time of 2.22. Also posted an 8.1 60 yard dash.
+ Clint Hargrave, C, Ouachita Christian HS(2019)
A 5-foot-10, 160-pound catcher and infielder with a medium, strong frame. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, and quick, clean exchanges. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 71 mph from the crouch, 73 mph from the infield and a pop time of 2.11. Right-handed hitter that hits from athletic setup, smooth load, leg kick and quality lower half. Gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, slightly uphill path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 82 mph. Also posted 7.7 60 yard dash.
+ Cole Jackson, C, Salmen HS(2018)
A 5-foot-9, 190-pound catcher with a medium, strong frame. Solid defender with average hands, solid footwork and clean exchanges. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 68 mph and a pop time of 2.11. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced setup, smooth load, and short stride. Power, pull type hitter with early rhythm, slightly uphill path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 84 mph. Also posted a 7.6 60 yard dash.
+ Brennan Lambert, C, Catholic(BR) HS(2018)
A 5-foot-10, 165-pound catcher with a strong, athletic frame. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, and quick, clean exchanges. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 74 mph and a pop time of 2.01. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced setup, smooth load, short stride and quality lower half. Gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, level path that creates quality extension and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 84 mph. Also posted a 7.45 60 yard dash.

A 5-foot-9, 178-pound catcher with a medium, strong frame. Left-handed hitter that hits from balanced setup, smooth load, short stride, and solid lower half. Opposite field type hitter with some rhythm, level path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 79 mph. Solid defender with average hands, solid footwork, and clean exchanges. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 72 mph and a pop time of 2.25. Also posted an 8.25 60 yard dash.
+ Alex Milazzo, C, Zachary HS(2019)
A 5-foot-10, 165-pound catcher and outfielder with a strong, athletic frame. Outstanding defender with soft hands, quick and fluid footwork, quality receiver, and showed quick, clean exchanges. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 79 mph from the crouch, 85 mph from the outfield and had a pop time of 1.86. Right-handed hitter that hits from an athletic setup, smooth load, leg kick and quality lower half. Gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, short path, advanced approach and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 81 mph. Also posted a 7.1 60 yard dash.
+ Caden Piper, C, St. Amant HS(2018)
A 5-foot-11, 165-pound catcher with a strong, athletic frame. Outstanding defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, and quick, clean exchanges. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 70 mph and a pop time of 1.95. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced setup, smooth load, short stride and explosive lower half. Line-drive type hitter with some rhythm, short path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 84 mph. Also posted a 7.04 60 yard dash.

A 6-foot, 155-pound catcher with a lean, athletic frame. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, and clean exchanges.
