Uncommitted Upperclass: Statistical Analysis

With an eventful weekend of baseball at Las Vegas Ballpark in the books, we now take a look back at the standouts from the Uncommitted Upperclass. This showcase included a Pro-Style Workout where players ran a Laser Timed 60 Yard Dash, took a TrackMan and Blast Motion analyzed Batting Practice, Catcher Pop Times/Velocity, Outfield Evaluations/Velocity and Infield Evaluation/Velocity concluding with pitches bullpens. 

The Uncommitted Upperclass brought out a talented group of 2021-2022 prospects who have taken the brunt of the damage caused by the current pandemic, but this group made the most out of the opportunity by posting eye popping numbers, especially at the plate. Twelve prospects in this event reached a 95+ mph Exit Velocity with four of those breaking the century mark and the top three all being from Northern Nevada.

Joel Lindahl may have had the best overall day with an event bests in the Laser Timed 60, at 6.79, and Infield Velocity, topping out at 87 mph. At the plate he posted a 95 mph Exit Velocity and he present tools will see him making his way up the rankings with the 2021 PBR Player Rankings update coming soon.
