Ammons: Saint John's, Bethel, Saint Thomas, Saint Olaf, and Wisconsin White Water

Ammons: I have taken visits to SJU, UST, and St. Olaf
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
Ammons: I am looking for a high academic school that can prepare me best for my future
PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
Ammons: Worked very hard with academics through a long and competitive year of basketball. Gained more experience and training through traveling around the country for tournaments over the summer with my Starters program
PBR: What are your goals for this year?
Ammons: To continue to work on my baseball skills, continue to get stronger, and continue to maintain my hard work in school

Scouting Report
8/19/18- 6-foot-2, 170-pound right-handed hitting shortstop. 6.83 runner. Upright narrow stance. Leg lift and hand load back. Slight arm bar. Some strength in swing. Mid/pull approach with line drive and fly ball contact. Flashes of pop in barrel. 86 mph exit velocity. IF- Decent actions and moves athletically to field. Time to release with longer arm action. 84 mph arm strength with solid carry and accuracy.
6/19/18- 6-foot-2, 165-pound right-handed hitting shortstop. #58 ranked player in MN 2018 class. 6.7 runner. Thin frame, tall open stance, solid balance in box, flashes line drive contact with gap to gap approach, 79 mph exit velocity. Works around and through ball, sure hands, taller fielding position occasionally, throws will improve with better direction with footwork on throws, 80 mph arm strength across the infield.
7/5/17- 6-foot-1, 150-pound right-handed hitting shortstop. 6.97 runner. Tall narrow stance, strides square and transfers weight through contact, slight collapse and loses leverage in swing, line drive hitter with gap to gap approach, 79 mph exit velocity. Solid pre-pitch movement, shows actions in field, hands are above average, accurate to bag, 75 mph arm across infield.
3/18/17- 6-foot-1, 150-pound right-handed hitting shortstop. 7.38 runner. Tall narrow stance, rolling hand and shoulder load, pull approach, avg. pop in bat, with spray contact, 75 mph exit velocity. Actions have improved in field, better angles, soft glove, stiffer ¾ arm action, accurate to bag, 74 mph arm strength across infield.
5/3/16- 5-foot-10, 135-pound right-handed hitting shortstop. 8.01 runner. Tall stance, shoulder load, mid/pull approach, slight uphill plane to contact, short finish, 65 mph exit velocity. Light on feet, plays with rhythm, needs to play though ball more and follow throws across. 65 mph arm strength.
