PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
Kranz: I have had several colleges express interest in me throughout the Midwest.
PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
Kranz: I have visited SMSU, Luther, and UW-Lacrosse. I am planning on visiting Saint Scholastica in the near future.
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
Kranz: I have worked hard throughout high school while taking challenging classes so I value my education. I would prefer a school with a challenging curriculum. I want to be a part of a strong baseball program where I can make an impact early in my collegiate career. I would also prefer to remain in the Midwest region.
PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
Kranz: ERA of 1.09 in 32 innings pitched. Of my 5 games pitched, I threw for 3 complete game. SSC All Conference. Shakopee Baseball Rookie of the Year.
PBR: What are your goals for this year?
Kranz: I want to continue my development as a pitcher throughout the off-season. My goals for this varsity season include being a strong role model for my teammates while I help contribute to a successful season.

Kranz: No

Scouting Report
10/21/18- 6-foot-3, 165-pound right-handed pitcher. Long and lanky projectable frame. Good tempo delivery and direction down mound. Throws from 3/4 arm slot with good extension on release. Lands slightly across body and hides ball. Easy arm action with fastball life. Fastball is 82-83 mph with a sinking action at times. Curveball has hard 11/5 break with tight spin and good shape thrown at 73-74 mph. Change-up is thrown with good arm speed and varying action at 74-75 mph. Follow arm in 2019 class.
