Tucson Summer Review: Statistical Analysis

Paul Panaccione
Arizona State Director

The annual Tucson Summer Review took place on August 29. This is an open event for high school players in the Tucson area to come and showcase their skills in front of the PBR Arizona staff. Players will also receive a full analysis from state-of-the-art technology such as TrackMan, Blast Motion, and Vizual Edge.

Recording these stats and metrics is something we value to follow a players development. While scouting/recruiting a player, progress is something that scouts often key on. Are you progressing? Are you digressing? Are you staying stagnant? The hope is to keep progressing. Showing a gain in arm strength, athleticism, bat speed.. etc. The stats recorded from the Tucson Summer Review will be posted on each individual player profile, allowing those with interest to follow up, and stay to date with each players progress.

Today we begin our analysis by taking a look at the top performers in each statistical category.
