On October 28th PBR Colorado will be hosting the Unsigned Senior Showcase to be held at the Regency Athletic Complex at Metropolitan State College. This will be a great opportunity for players to get their profiles updated right before the early signing date. Over the last eight years this event has been a staple of the Prep Baseball Report schedule. Walk ups will not be accepted. The showcase will be featured on the Prep Baseball Report’s website, which is also subscribed to by more than 850 college coaches. Jared Ure RHP / 1B / Eaton, CO / 2019Rankings StateRank: 15 / POS: 5
Currently ranked No. 15 in Colorado's 2019 rankings. 6 ft-6 in, 220 lbs Ure has a prototypical professional pitcher's body, long arms and legs, broad shoulders. Jared has a very simple, repeatable delivery. Pitches from a 3/4 arm slot. He features a 4 seam FB, works both sides of the plate, gets some sink occasionally. Velocity sits between 83-86 the whole game, with an occasional 88. Very projectable velocity. His arm works very easy with minimal effort. He also uses the famous Eaton Knuckle CB as his main secondary pitch. Velocity on the CB is 72-76, and it has a 12/6 shape to it. The pitch is effective because he throws it for strikes, it has a late break, and the change of speed helps as well. He has a Circle CH but rarely uses it. Ure is also a prospect as a hitter. He will show above average power in BP and occasionally in games. He has some length to his swing and usually faces below average pitching, but the hitting tools need to be considered. Ure will be a riser in the next 2019 rankings update.

Calvin Hunt RHP / 3B / Ralston Valley, CO / 2019Rankings StateRank: 18 / POS: 6
6-3, 170-lb RHP/3B. The Ralston Valley product has a fastball that is consistently in the mid 80's as he owns the mound. Uses a drop-and-drive delivery, using lower half well. Stays in line, with an athletic finish. Features a long arm action and quick arm speed out front with an over-the-top slot. Mixes in a 12/6 curveball that breaks late out of the hand (66-69 mph). Also offers a tricky changeup coming in with same arm speed (and 72-74 mph velo) with late sink.

Weston Siefken RHP / 3B / Holy Family, CO / 2019Rankings StateRank: 29 / POS: 8
6-foot-0, 170-pound RHP 3B. On the mound, athletically built, right handed pitching prospect. Tilt and topple style, directionally in line, square landing, solid, athletic finish, smooth rhythm throughout. High front side, loose, short, clean arm action, quick arm speed, over the top slot, gets over front side well, creates angle, easy effort involved. Fastball was straight, occasional hard run, 85-86 mph, topped 86 mph. Curveball showed depth, 12/6 shape, 64-67 mph. Changeup, maintains fastball arm speed, good fading action, ranged 69-73 mph.

Kellan Voggesser RHP / OF / Fort Collins , CO / 2019Rankings StateRank: 35 / POS: 11
6-foot-3, 190-pound RHP/OF. On the mound he stands tall and gets balanced. Drop and drive to the plate and stays in-line on his delivery. Arm speed stays consistent on all three pitches. Delivery is from an over the top arm slot. Fastball has jumped since last time we saw him, up to 86 to 87 mph, touching 88. Curve had 11/5 shape at 71-72 mph. Projectable frame.

Jake Schope RHP / Heritage, CO / 2019Rankings StateRank: 44 / POS: 12
5-foot-9, 165 pounds. RHP. Comes from high 3/4 arm angle, slight tilt in delivery. Lands inline towards plate with some effort. At times falls off to 1st. Pitches off 74-75 mph slider that has late depth. Throws for strikes. 3 out of every 4 pitches was a slider, then comes with an 85-86 mph fastball that has arm side run. Will elevate fastball.
